HIGHER SHARPNOSE POINT MORWENSTOW CORNWALL
The narrow path along the coastal headland of Higher Sharpnose Point. The promontory thrusts its immense mass of sheer rock into the wild Atlantic near to Morwenstow north of Bude on the spectacular, remote North Cornwall coast, SW England, UK. Shaped by massive geological forces, the headland has sheer drops on both sides of around 300 feet (100m). This and other nearby jagged fingers of rock outcrops have proved treacherous for shipping, particularly in the days of sail and as this coast faces the full might of the Atlantic Ocean.
